Pratt Recreation Center

The state-of-the-art Pratt Recreation Center provides LIU students with a modern facility where they can exercise, play, and compete. From high-action basketball games to leisurely laps in an eight-lane swimming pool, the $18.5-million center, gifted by Jeanette and Edmund T. Pratt, Jr. The 77,000-square-foot facility contains a modern 3,000-seat gymnasium with three full-size basketball courts, an elevated Mondo-X indoor jogging track; an eight-lane competitive-size swimming pool. It also features an ultramodern Human Performance Lab for our athletes. The Pratt Recreation Center is located in our athletics complex, next to the football stadium.
